Former U.S. energy envoy Amos Hochstein warns that the global oil market is heading toward severe shortages as conflict in the Middle East disrupts energy flows and tanker traffic. Brent crude oil, now $110 a barrel, Hochstein said in a Bloomberg Radio interview, is actually trading at $150 to $170 a barrel.
