According to the latest available data from Brazil's central bank, in the first quarter of 2025, about 40% of total bilateral trade between Brazil and China was settled in yuan, without the dollar as an intermediary. Bilateral trade reached a record $171 billion in 2025 – more than double the US figure of $83 billion.
