Boeing to lay off more than 2,600 across 5 states

Boeing will cut 2,199 workers in Washington beginning Dec. 20, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act. Meanwhile, Boeing sites in Oregon, Colorado, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania have announced job cuts as well, with layoffs beginning Jan. 17, 2025, according to the aircraft maker’s WARN letters.
