U.S. Class 8 retail sales continued to trend below the prior-year period with a 13.5% drop in August, according to data from Wards Intelligence. Sales decreased to 17,876 units from 20,671 in August 2024. The latest figures also showed a 5.1% sequential decrease from the 18,838 units reported in July.
