Last month, Citibank transferred $900 million to a number of its customers. But Citibank messed up. It was only supposed to send $9 million, not $900 million. It requested the recipients to return the funds. Most of them did. But the rogues at Brigade Capital Management opted to keep their $176 million bonanza.
