Grocery store prices in August showed the largest month-to-month increase of the year at 0.6%, according to Consumer Price Index (CPI) data released Thursday by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Inflation for all goods and services measured in the index was up in August, with an increase of 0.4%.
