A report suggested Meta Platforms could be eyeing job cuts of 20% of more to offset heavy artificial-intelligence infrastructure costs. Such a dramatic action may not correlate to an equally substantial benefit for the company, according to analysts. A 20% cut to Meta’s global workforce of nearly 80,000 employees would be drastic.
