Mint State 63 $20 Liberty - Never Seen This Opportunity

In the 23 years of Patriot Trading Group, I’ve never seen the Mint State 63 $20 Liberty be this close to spot.

I’ll be the first to tell you that I haven’t been a fan of Mint State graded coins for years because of how expensive they have been in the past. Most gold dealers sell them for far above the gold content and unless you are a true coin collector why would you pay more for your wealth insurance.

Graded bullion coins are the latest example of dealers charging huge premiums above gold content. MS 69 & 70 gold eagles and buffalo coins aren’t rare, aren’t unusual, and there only value is their gold content. Since these coins were never put into circulation and never used as money they are all MS 69 & 70 coming out of the mint. You can always buy these graded coins from Patriot for the exact same price as an ungraded gold eagle or buffalo.

If you are buying the older Liberty and Saint Gaudens graded coins you don't have to pay huge premiums and buy into the misconception that they are somehow rare and going to be worth significantly more than their gold content. In the graded $20 gold piece market you can buy MS 61-64 Saint Gaudens from Patriot for around the same price  when we have them on sale.  Anything MS 65 and above you will have to pay a premium.

In the $20 dollar Liberty market that premium starts at MS 63 and for much of our 23 year history this graded coin has been worth double and triple the value of it's gold content.  This is the first time in 23 years we are recommending the MS 63 $20 Liberty coin.  We have never been able to sell this coin anywhere close to the coins actual gold content until today.
