UPS is continuing down the rightsizing path, announcing the shuttering of a Baltimore facility and the laying off of the 540 employees that work there. UPS filed a WARN notice with the Maryland Dept. of Labor on June 20, which indicated the closure of the 182,000-square-foot facility on August 23.
